It's hard to argue against that being the 'right' system. Many won't bother voting because they know full well that the party that they most closely align to (from Green to Reform to Lib Dems) have zero chance of returning a local MP.
Toby Perkins himself actually pushed a flier through my door about 10am.

Labour were still delivering flyers on my estate at 4pm... think of the trees!
The downside of PR is you end up with few occasions when one party has a majority and full control so it can create a bit of an issue when coalitions fall apart or less likely to get extreme policies or big changes as getting support for them is harder...
But its got to be better than this - the latest couple of elections teach us that!
Stay Home. Stay Safe.

Furlough pay was very much aimed at keeping the support of Middle England.
And it?ll be middle England that bares the majority of the tax burden to cover the cost of it.
That?s the way it is, the super rich use their tax loopholes, the feckless and the workshy get it handed to them on a plate (and we all know who they are, I?m not saying everyone on benefits is either workshy or feckless - far from it) and Mondeo Man, as I think war monger Blair termed it, is the easy target every time.
Anyway I best say n? more as someone will be along in a minute to point out that I said earlier that I didn?t complain. 🤣
