Wilder V Fury

Well I have had a good look at the videos , forget fury’s last 2 fights and concentrate on his defeat of Klitschko
Fury confused klitschko that night and deserved to win but it was a very poor fight on reflection and the tempo was very slow with not many good exchanges
Positives for fury
Beat the no1 heavyweight
Taller man
Heavier man
Longer reach
Great movement
Better technical boxer
Negatives
2 awful warm ups
Huge weight loss
Not a big puncher
Unknown trainer
Punch volume per round
Has been knocked down
Wilder has been spoon fed some real bums in his career but s 39 ko record from 40 fights is impressive his last fight against luis Ortiz a boxer unbeaten and with pedigree was good, the exchanges from both were at times excellent and both carried power and speed
Positives for wilder
Devasting right hand
Good chin
Throws punches in bunches in exchanges with intent
Great athlete
Negatives
Awkward
Easy to hit at times
Is he as good against s bigger man as took a wide stance against Ortiz to improve power which he cannot do against fury
Convlusion
I can only see 2 outcomes a points win for fury or a devastating knockout by wilder, I think the most impressive form should be judged on the actual fights they have had and the win over Ortiz was the best fight of the two
Wilder by a middle round ko is my fancy, I see a lack of real fights and the weight loss is not ideal for fury and he carries far too many negatives for me to see him winning

That's a pretty fair assessment. A fully fit and focussed Fury would be a real handful, and imho too much, for Wilder, but the amount of time out of the ring and his very limited warm up "fights" leaves me thinking this is way too early. I'd love Fury to do it but I'm with you and expect a stoppage before the later rounds. Hope I'm wrong.

I am anticipating that Fury will adopt the gameplan he used in the victory over Klitschko, to be as elusive as possible and to try to avoid becoming engaged in any sustained spells of hitting. Wilder’s temperament and punching power should mean that his way of combating Fury will be very different to Klitschko’s.
Fury’s winding-up of Wilder could mean the champ explodes from the first bell to try for a quick demolition, similar to the Bermaine Stiverne rematch. Wilder could, though, use home advantage to keep him ahead on the scorecards whilst cutting down the ring until Fury slows and becomes an easier target.
I do expect Fury to feel the speed and power of Wilder.

46lbs heavier than wilder, that’s s huge difference, if fury gets in s clinch expect him dropping his shoulders on top of wilder, it’s 50:50 now imo

I had a brief look at it before the fight but thought..nah..well done!
Terrible decision but it keeps AJ away so Wilders team will be happy.

See it looks more like AJ will be happier so he can duck them both longer. Think all that time it took negotiations between him and Wilder before they broke down. Fury went straight in there and the fights already done in less time than that took.
He cant duck the winner of the rematch should there be one though.

The fight was made quickly simply because it kept Wilder away from Joshua and Wilder expected another pushover. Don't get me wrong Fury was superb but if you seriously think Joshua is avoiding either I think you're wrong!. The reasons negotiations are so awkward for Wilder Joshua is because of the obstacles and stupid demands Wilders team make.

Just watched all 12 rounds, imo a lot of the rounds were close as fury only just nicked them , I scored the first 5 infurys favour 4-1 which mirrored 2 of the 3 judges.
Fury’s head movement is unreal and he can only get better , he needs to work on his punching power at this level as he does a lot of arm shots but he would beat wilder next time easily, he would be a nightmare for Joshua and would hit him easier than he did wilder, this was a better performance than klitscko fight and fury imo is the most talented boxer in the division
