Grigg and Naylor had hardly ?set the world on fire? The last cpl of seasons but are obviously superb signings for our current level. Just as I?d imagine Clucas would be!

Maybe but you can?t justify anything by referencing Grigg etc - we can only hope Cook has done his homework.
God I hate this league.

Calm down with all these players, we haven?t seen them for ages and they haven?t been setting the world on fire.

You must live in a bubble without a tv. I've seen plenty of Clucas last season, playing 32 times in the Championship. He was a rare ray of sunshine in the Millers miserable season

I think the "playing 32 times in the Championship" says it all. Even more so if he does drop down to league two.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I have a life which doesn?t entail watching every EFL game that?s televised,
Sorry I can get excited over supporters recommendations, I?ll wait and see with my own eyes.
God I hate this league.

Is your opinion better than Cooky's then?
It's just that you seem to think that you'll reserve judgement on a player that you have no control over whether he plays for us or not and the only person who has that ultimate recommendation would be the manager himself.
You hope Cooky's done his research, makes it sound like you think Cooky gets recommendations from people in a motorway service station.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

If your life doesn't involve watching players you make disrespectful remarks about, then it's best you don't.

Don?t see where you get the disrespect from, just saying Ican?t form an opinion or get excited.

If that?s disrespect, you live a very sheltered life.

Forming an opinion and then presenting that opinion as fact without having seen them play is not showing respect for what they have achieved. The opposite of respect is disrespect. No sheltered life required.

If Clucas is anything still like the player he was when he was here before - and his career since suggests he certainly is - then he will still be far too good for the fourth division. Methinks another pie in the sky rumour, rather like filling the corners of the stadium in. Hope I'm proved wrong with the Clucas rumour, but fear it's nonsense.

This is nearly as exciting as the general election campaigning!

I would be very surprised and happy if Sam Clucas came back at this point in time. There must be a good few Championship clubs who'd offer him a contract and then there's league one.
