You only have to look at the Tory election date betting scandal to realise these filthy lot are not fit to serve this country, they will do anything to get a quick easy buck, for themselves, it?s obvious the idiot at the top opened his mouth and the cretins below hoovered up like vultures. They are finished as a party

Were you one of the ones who lumped on in the cup game when everyone except the bookies seemed to know Town were putting out a weakened team? Just wondered where your morals ended on inside info?

Given the state of Local Govt finances, I?d say a Council Tax revaluation and the introduction of new Bands is a shoe-in

But growth is the solution to labour's wish list and if you take money out of people's pockets through higher council tax bills, how does that play to the growth agenda? Can't see councils putting it into construction projects, it would just pay the interest on their debts...

Tax and spend... the normal labour approach.

Well he can't have meant Tory

Bright new future? They haven't announced many policies just wish lists but none of them point to anything remotely bright or new...

The next 12 to 18 months will see improvement as the impact of coming out of the Ukraine/ pandemic crisis eases... but after that.... let's see shall we, but maybe we can bookmark this page to see if the bright new future appears?

Which they did just SKS said they would. However his bet was against himself winning

To be fair having slagged the other party for not doing even he isn't so stupid as to not do! Plus their guy bet against himself for a reason ;)

Didn?t realise the Plod had been arrested tbh so yep thats a good point. Hes been arrested for misconduct in a public office?Im guessing MPs cant for some reason? Otherwise I?m with you now tbh. Changed my mind.

They aren't MPs anymore so unlikely, although technically they were before the election was called.

No longer being supported by the party as I understand - although not really up with the news as away having a break!

    Hi,
Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
    Thanks
    Andy ...

Hi. I'm a season ticket holder who unfortunately will be travelling to Gran Canaria on 8th of Jan.
Happy to get you a ticket for Chelsea if you're struggling. Regards Nigel.

Thanks for the invite - would have loved to have joined you but I am moving house tomorrow so day not in the office or in London!
Might have joined as the political conversations might have been more up my street than most on the board!

If you live in London, you're welcome to join a couple of Spireites tomorrow (Monday) evening where the main topic of conversation will be Chesterfield FC amongst other things. All very friendly. We'll be in the Williamson Tavern near St Pauls about 7.30. Sorry for the short notice.
    regards
    John
