Is that how the internet forums work?
Ok.
It?s been reported about the shopping sprees - in fact was mentioned on HIGNFY.
Nothing wrong with it of course but makes the hero thing to his people a bit naff.

Oh dear - he?s been allowed near the PC again.
Have you fallen for the spam pride flags down Regents Street that Fox and Grimes etc did? (Regents Street had no Pride flags on D Day as it happens - it still had Champions League flags until 4pm

Jeez. Another thread ruined. Meaning to be a respectful thread to pay homage to the fallen instead turned in to point scoring personal vendettas. Genuinely thought better than this but not surprised. This is not debate its pathetic.

Whilst you might consider this board to be the only place to express your private and personal thoughts, I don't. I've shown my respects, elsewhere, thank you. My grandad fought in WWII and had his foot blown off.

You may have noticed, this board's personal section isn't what folk consider to be immune from vileness being slung from all corners, no matter what the topic. What's been said so far is extremely mild and doesn't take anything away from the substance of the topic. In fact, I'd argue that Khan has shown more disrespect to our heroes than anything I've seen from the 'usual suspects' on here, and it's certainly pertinent to the topic.

Definitely, that Khan is very disrespectful to what the brave service men and women of this country fought to preserve
Without the bravery of that generation I doubt he?d even be here

But if a strange comment- how was he disrespectful in anyway? He went to a D Day commemorative event - did you?

Always strange to see a pile on from people 150 miles away for no obvious (!) reason
