At the moment done well re missing home fixtures due to family hols. None missed in the League programme although the Carabao Cup R3 is when we?re away and the FACup third round the day before we?re due to depart. Only downside is we miss Donny away.
East stand second class citizen.

Was hoping to be away first game as will be in Greece Hopefully there?ll be some way of watching it abroad.
Plus I assume those fixtures aren?t set in stone as the TV games haven?t been announced yet, apart from ours of course.

By the time you get back we will hopefully have got a few points on the board!

Holiday commitments aside, I think the majority will be happy that the season's opener is at home, I know I am. Hopefully we can start the season with a sellout.

Yep I wanted to do Carlisle and Barrow for weekenders up in the lakes. Doesn?t quite have the same appeal in December

Atleast all the big local ones are on Saturdays though.

Same here but Sat and Tues late summer would?ve been nice for a 5 day break

Could anyone enlighten me about watching the games on EFL iplayer from abroad ? I took a look at the website after the publication of the fixtures this morning but there are still only a few clubs subscribed as far as I can see and we?re not included yet. It seems that clubs have to set up the possibility for fans not in the UK. Maybe a bit early to ask.

I?ll be in town in early September but without transport and would gladly share the travel to Port Vale as long as I can get hold of a ticket 😁

EFL player is no more, being replaced by a sky sports app

Vale is very doable on the train via Derby. Will be plenty of buses from Barrel, Bridge Inn, official ones from club too

Its all very confusing but i thought that the EFL iFollow one was staying for overseas viewers? Sky stuff just for UK based.

You're probably right, but it could explain why so few clubs have apparently still to sign up

The lack of information is probably telling...no one is quite sure what is happening!!

Just found this from AFC Wimbledon on the 18th June....in the story about coverage it does say :-

Quote

EFL clubs will be permitted to continue international streaming services direct to fans overseas, where matches are not being broadcast exclusively, enabling those based abroad the chance to watch all their team's league matches throughout the whole season.

Sounds like its down to the club if they want to do something, hopefully with us having spent the last couple of seasons doing it anyway for National League games we will continue to do it.

How many used the iFollow platform last year? A lot seemed to have their own streaming arrangements.

I don?t like the look of it anyway as it appears people have to subscribe for audio streams and interviews if the platform is used. Can?t remember if that was the case before we became non league.
