When you give it away in the positions we have done it?s hard to do a lot. Players that are a lot better on the ball than they are showing then making it very difficult for themselves.

Southgate does it every time we take a lead, we go deep. You can play whatever system you want, but if your team drops off the opposition you'll bring trouble on yourself. After the first goal we should have pushed on. Poor from a timid manager.

Kante played with Rabiot then camavinga alongside him the other night. It is a bit of trying to find a way to get the best players in. Left hand side and foden exacerbated by the lack of a proper left back to get forward and give the full back a threat to thing about.

Their goal came from giving the ball away in a crap position which we?ve done all half. Doesn?t matter what you pick players and formation wise if you give it away as much as we have.

Quite worrying really but England do have the quality and discipline to win the game. The question is do they, as a unit, have the strength of character. Sometimes that's just as important as the quality. Come on England!

These players aren't dropping off on their own, it's down to Southgate. The game's compressed so passes are going to go awry. At the moment we could sub all eleven and Southgate will play for a point.
