No dispute for either of the two previous posts but I doubt it?s panning out how he envisaged.

From a bank balance point of view he might not be too upset
A new hope.

Short term I?d agree, long term earnings won?t be at a level they could have been if he?s signed and been playing regularly for a successful club and could have a future there.

They had about 7 strikers to choose from I believe.
Barrows two leading scorers last season were midfielders, one of whom has since left the club. Im sure he wont have been brought in at a small club like Barrow as a bench warmer.

Andrew Dallas, what could have been.
From a footballing point of view, had he signed here (BTW, that ship has set sail and disappeared over the horizon) I think he would have become the player to match his reputation.
He must be kicking himself not signing for us cos I think the staff would have whipped him into shape to become a very, very good player. Real shame cos I think if he'd knuckled down and committed himself to us, he would have gotten tbe 'big' move but also would have made an impact- instead of failing at Barnsley, Kilmarnock and ultimately at Oldham.
I'd be interested to see how it pans out at Barrow

what makes you think the coaches at Barnsley/Killi/Oldham are poor at their jobs?

The lad last summer clearly had a summer to forget (apart from signing a 3 year deal with a L1 club) but has now had 3 pro clubs trying to 'whip him in to shape'.

I think if he 'knuckles down and commits himself' with any club he could still be a very good player, but clearly that hasn't been the case just yet.

I hope for his sake, this summer is the one he wakes up and smells the coffee.

Someone on Twitter described him as a "National League player with a Premier League agent," and there may be some truth in that!
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

I dont think I said that. It's Dallas that has failed at those clubs by not making his mark and breaking into a starting 11 on a regular basis.
I know I'm bias when it comes to us. From what I believe, we wanted him to sign and he would have been on the crest of a wave with making a good impact here and Cook fully knowing and expecting what he wanted out of Dallas.
Dallas would have been a real player for us given the right direction but alas, twas not to be.

Playing devils advocate regarding Dallas?s career since last summer, he wasn?t afforded a real opportunity at Barnsley before being loaned out.

He landed at Kilmarnock who play on a plastic pitch which our squad of players with the talent they have were hopeless on it and apparently couldn?t play on it last season.

He finished at Oldham who had a list of attackers as long as your arm and went into an environment with the manager slagging his players off in public, players falling out with fans and so on.

Every player and most teams train on articficial - most players have been brought up playing on them - don?t be fooled into the conspiracy!

I?m not.

I?m simply stating that Dallas played a large part of last season on one and is being deemed a failure yet when we perform like we did on the artificial surface, the pitches aren?t fit and should be banned.

Banned as we didn?t play as well on them? Seems a bit strange!
Maybe we should ban Stoke City as well?
