Going to need one of these I reckon with the new Sky/EFL Deal

Swindon (H)- 10th Aug to 9th Aug - 8pm KO
Gillingham (A) - 31st Aug - 12.30 KO
Cheltenham (H) - 21st Sept - 12.30 KO

Early start for Gillingham

Any more before FA Cup 3rd round weekend should also be announced before the season starts as well plus on International Breaks our games will be on live but more than likely still at 3pm Saturday.

And no doubt these will be followed by more Saturday ruining changes with some or all of Grimsby, Vale, Notts and/or Bradford kick offs being brought forward for some bizarre reason, only on skys approval of course.

We'll have a couple more potentially in the next batch announced covering up to early January, suspect if we are in the mix for promotion then the second batch will be more problematic. The first batch as well will cover getting all the sides in as much as possible to cover the contractual obligations so likely spread round more.

Praying the football league doesn't sell its soul to money like the prem fixtures. Dont like Sunday and Monday games! Think Xmas eve had teams playing ? Chelsea ? Fans moaned and I agree with them

Every weekend 10 games will be moved - 5 Champ & 5 L1/L2. Of those moved 7 of the 10 will be 12.30 on Sat - 1 on a Thur/Fri, 1 on a Sun and 1 on a Mon pretty much

Every Itn Break game will be on TV (but still 3pm I think) so that is 4 games.

So by law of averages we're going to get 9/10 moved assuming they share it our evenly, which they won't. Games up until FA Cup 3rd round in Jan will be announced by start of season so expect more to be moved, but with plenty of notice.

Beyond that for 2nd half of the season I reckon teams near the top will get a lot moved so if we are doing well it wouldn't suprise me if it was 10+ moved

I'm sure many will get confused with the changes, me included. It's going to be difficult for those who work shifts, because I used to put holidays in a couple of weeks previous so cover could be afforded.
If you take Murdoch's money then this is what happens.

You can still be pretty organised, you will know before the season starts when games will kick off through until early Jan to give people the chance make arrangements around them etc. Its not great but its not like games are being shifted a couple of weeks before etc.

In terms of local games I can still see the plod having a say, not sure they will want us going to Notts County on a Thursday evening for example.

Ugh, this is gonna be a real headache with work. Changing to 12.30 on a Saturday is about the worst thing for me.
Here we go again!

Why does the club's announcement not mention the opening game?

Opening game was not moved. It was a schedule fixture.
