Yep that’s some of our we are romping away to inevitable promotion & champions …& people EXPECT us to walk over every team that we face…do you really think players want to lose or let let leads slip??
If this is our ‘blip’ in the season then frig me…20 points clear & not won for three games!!! Jesus get a grip!!
We are entitled to a ‘ blip’ no one can be perfect!!
But the over reaction….cooks been found out…need a new back four! Embarrassing when a few games back , people were lauding, Williams, grimes, Horton, shecks and co!

Yep it’s frustrating when we let things slip, but do you really think the players & cook like it??? Not for one minute

football is an emotional hobby and can bring out the worst in people for sure, the last couple of home games have been frustrating because we didn't do what we have done for the most part of the season and win, yet i don't see the games as being much different, we have strong spells, we score goals but we do get sloppy and we do give chances...

i want us to get promotion and to get it asap as i just want out of this league and i think that's how everyone feels, the last 10 years have been tough ones and we are so close to some joy now. people will react differently to this and as the finishing line comes into view the players most of all have to hold their nerve and believe, the fans have to do likewise, the atmosphere was a little flat again today (we could almost do with a game under the lights if you know what i mean).

perhaps some of the anxiety being expressed is the fear of throwing away this golden chance we have created... until it's done that will remain to a greater or lesser extent with people.

for me, i didn't say "let's get the ribbons on the trophy" after we'd won those 7 in a row and i equally haven't pressed the panic button in the last couple of weeks either. not everyone is the same.

Bang on mate!

Every team has blips. Even Man City by their standards have had some iffy results and performances this season. Wrexham had a poor start briefly last season and the year before Stockport didn’t really get going until after Christmas. By our season’s standards this is our worst run but even if we lose at Barnet, which is a real possibility, I still expect us to win the league comfortably.
Some real fruit loops on here at times. Heaven knows what they were like during the recent bad years. They probably enjoyed them!

We set such high standards this season we were always going to have a bad run. It’s nearly impossible to maintain that consistency for a whole season especially when our nearest challengers are not really pushing us. More to the point, everyone involved has earned the right to have a dip. The people who react like we have just lost 6 on the bounce to drop into the relegation zone are entitled morons.

This is a very good post. People forget there’s two teams on the pitch both wanting to win and we don’t have Devine right.
