Tonight was shocking. I got a phone call tonight at quater past 6 saying that a player cant turn up. when enquired about another they werent able to either.
From here on in, if you cant play we need to have some advance notice. First thing on sunday morning yea fine but not 15 min before kickoff.
Tonights stunt left us with Me, Ash and Jacquesy. So its another 5-0 defeat

Which was my concern before we said we'd re-enter, to be honest I only agreed to carry on as the leisure leagues point of contact as no-one else was willing to do it and everyone said that they would be up for it this year. I can't play in most games as I have other commitments.
We knew that Cookie and Paul weren't playing last week, and Andy has said he will not be playing in most games.
The fact that we have no goalie is also a big problem. In all honesty, I wish that when leisure leagues had rung up, I had just told them no and stuck to it, now I am liable to pay the fees even when we can't get a team.

I can be around if you need a body.. our usual suspects aren't having a a game this week and i could do with stretching me legs (and i need to keep my caleb like form going!)
6pm is sort of the borderline of my time where i could do with getting back on the motorway
I'll clear it with the boss, but if you get 5 people - can you let me know so i can step aside and get home?

being top goal scorer and all
I'm quite happy to let you, until I'm top scorer anyway... So by half time you'll be in midfield
Heh, I want to play at back for some reason at moment - enjoyed it when I played there in that friendly! When I took on all the team to fire in from 20 yards, do you remember which one I'm on about??
Edit: 'Bagsy' - Lol, not heard that for ages... Child

anywhere! Traditionally i've tended to play at the back, that's not stopped most "managers" sticking me on the wing, upfront or in midfield.
recently (either 7 aside on half a full pitch out-doors or 5-a-side indoors), i've been bombing around in "midfield" and loving it.
We tend to just play man for man marking and switch back as we get knackered!
I'm on a bit of a purple patch this last month, i think it's down to having the football in the front room. my first touch has improved from none-existant to awful and everything else has gone from there!

Rather not play the whole game in goal - i'm in enough trouble by potentially delaying the drive back by 3 hours and thats with the "i've missed my exercise this week - do you want me to have a heart attack!!".
I wouldn't mind going in for a bit or a half though, I usually bagsie to be 2nd person in the net (yes, i still say that too), then i can run round like a loon have a rest and then finish off the match out of the net.
