It's not so perplexing when we associate what's going on with Phil Kirk's stated strategy, agreed with PC, to build slowly and sensibly cos this squad doesn't need wholesale dismantling. I have just read Micah Richards book and he said he never booked a flight accommodation or suitcase he just took his washbag znd handed his passport to his club and its common for most footballers not to be involved in any arrangements
