It's nice to have a backup for Mandeville because not many of our attacking midfielders like the right side of the pitch, with only Dobra, and at a push, Banks looking comfortable there.
We've got a decent squad at the moment, so add a few youngsters to bulk it out and I think we're cooking on gas.

My official man in the know, has gone very dumb all of a sudden on all things transfer orientated. This isn't a bad thing, because he's been wrong on all points. I asked him about us signing Freckleton, but he's either turned himself into a fly, so he can get more information or he's embarrassed by the things he's told me as being the gospel truth, which turned out to be less than accurate. He should be a football correspondent for The Sun, they'd love him.
Anyway, I think we've missed the boat on the Freckleton front, but I believe Paul Cook will have others to look at from now until the transfer window shuts.

Although it could be argued you can never have too many good players and options I get the feeling our transfer business is probably done. Always thought talk of Cooper and Clucas was pie in the sky. Besides isn't Cooper about done owing to injury? He hasn't seem to have played much recently.
Do we need any more? I think the right back position is probably covered with Shecks and the option of Williams and Mandy although the latter is rather wasted there. It seems most other postions are well covered apart from goalkeeper. There are also likely to be some outgoings. Palmer possibly? What do people reckon?

Just listened to CD,s interview. Wow what an eloquent speaker he is. Sounds like he is a tough no nonsense rock of a defender, just what we need. I suspect he wants and will be given captaincy as he is a good talker

Williams too, he can double up on the bench as right back and centre half.
