I'm not going to matlock Saturday but an earlier K.O time makes so much more sense. One of the key priorities of this fixture is to maximise income for the coming season for matlock. Why not stretch the day out and smash bar profits ? No brainer

They?ll be at maximum capacity no matter what time k.o., the club house can seat only so many and when you are sold out before the England game their fans will I feel hang about to watch the game so the ko time is irrelevant.
God I hate this league.

FWIW I think they're will be a discussion between clubs about bringing it forward, maybe to 2pm (even if its just half an hour) otherwise the trophy presentation will be to 1 man and his dog lol

Plenty of places to watch it in Matlock, Tipsy Toad or Rabona would be your best bets!

I messed up big time, thought it would be 8pm KO so booked a table at Piedaniels at 6pm in Bakewell!

In an effort to combat any spread of misinformation currently on the internet, our game against Chesterfield FC is a 3pm kick off at The Proctor Cars Stadium. ⚽️

The clubhouse will be showing the England game and everyone is welcome regardless of whom you support.

Weather permitting, Matlock Cricket Club will open their outfield up for parking for a fee on 6th July (midday), I'd suggest bringing change to make life easier for yourself.

We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 👋

I knew I'd forgotten a useful piece of information, my apologises.

It's five pounds for all day parking and the money raised from said parking goes back in to supporting the football and cricket club.

There's numerous public transport options as well for those who wish to have a few beverages after the game.

Decent size as it is - how many people is the Matlock clubhouse licensed to hold?

Obviously another choice for watching the game in Matlock is the Duke of Wellington on the hill out of town and I’m sure Red Lion a short walk past the cricket ground has a TV set and brew a decent pint themselves.

I'm not sure of the number off the top of my head but I am aware it's a large amount.

There's many great venues in and around town as well including pubs and the Rabona Sports Bar but nothing beats watching football at a football ground.
