Too late youth, I think they've already come over here. We've been invaded on the sly.

anybody who has not seen the spartacus series has missed a treat, probably the best tv series of all time imo, culminating in a fantastic last episode that left tears running down a 42 year old blokes cheeks,a series that really had everything. " I AM SPARTACUS."

I've seen multiple episodes from the first series... it's alright for what it is (tits and blood) but a lot of the acting is p**s poor. Best series of all time? Hell to the no - Breaking Bad & Game of Thrones miles ahead off the top of my head.

Here's what's currently on my SKY+

CSI - Well I have always liked this and Ted Danson is damn good in it. Far better than Laurence Fishbourne...

Revolution - Post Apocalyptic(Well sort of) is my thing, and promising.

The Following - Given up on it just seems like it is made up with no coherant storyline as it just sideways jumps all the time, even I can tell what is gonna happen

Grey Anatomy - The wifes program but I can dip in and out, decent.

The Good Wife - Political/Lawyer drama show which to me is pretty good.

The New Girl - You have to have a bit of mindless humour

Peron Of Interest - Very good crime thriller.

Blue Bloods - Decent Cop drama.

Presumably an Argentinian based thriller?

Don't read the books then, the series is more dumbed down and I find that frustrating at times. They even change character's names for the thickos.

I'm gravitating towards Smig's position regarding 'GOT'. It's beginning to plod too much.

Can't believe no one's mentioned 'Modern Family', though. Brilliant, just brilliant.

Other than that 'Have I Got News For You' is unmissable, whilst I'm having a terrific time catching up with 'Big Bang Theory'.

To me the 3rd book is the best one, if they pull off what happens in it as well as I hope, you will be blown away.

had to stop watching Revolution due to the lead young female character being far too annoying

Watched the first episode of Defiance on SyFy last night, very promising - more near future stuff with aliens

Game of thrones is suffering from too much going on, too many characters to try and tell the stories of in too many locations, you only get a little bit furthur forward with each characters story each episode and it makes it hard to follow, the books are awesome though

Ditto. Tried to stick with it to watch Gus but failed. I can't wait for Arrested Development series 4. That, Curb your enthusiasm and Series 1 of Eastbound & Down wipe the floor with owt else that's been out recently comedy-wise.

The missus was watching The Village the other night - i know it's meant to be set in Derbyshire (indeed i heard Chesterfield mentioned once) but was it filmed here? Looked more like North Yorks to me.

It was filmed in Hayfield - Edale - Glossop - C-e-l-f amongst other local places. I started watching it about two shows ago, thought it was pretty good. The main actress is brilliant, dont remember her name though.
