He wasn?t off his line. His back foot was level with the line. It doesn?t need to be planted. Only in line or behind the line.

And only one foot now isn?t it?

**Winning goal in a major tournament. They scored in the last Euros.

Oh yes- right you are. Cheers
Scotland had only two touches in the box last night, no shots on target.
I don?t share the general sense of glee at their failure.
These go to eleven.

It was a low point

No it wasn?t. We were top of national league and playing top draw opposition who did wonders in champions league season before. How is that a barometer of a low point ?

I have only watched 45mins of Italy match so far. I have no appetite for the Euros, I'll watch England once the Derbys. T20 is over which starts at 4pm. Southgate's negative tactics put me off, we have the quality to win the tournament but His build up play is so slow. Get the balls into their box early with quality crosses the old fashioned England way

I shall be going to Derby for the t20 match and should be back for the start of the England match but watching

derbyshire play is more of a priority for me than watching England play

Yes I know what you mean, it seems the way in modern football......Sideways, sideways, back, forwards, sideways, sideways, back. REPEAT
I have to disagree about us winning. With the likes of Germany and Spain will outclass us.

Impressed by Espana.

Tonight?s game v Serbia categorised as high risk yet UEFA insist on no barriers inside the stadium. Risky.

High risk of what, over expectations being dashed again? Been little trouble with English fans for a fair while, the Russians were culpable last time, don't know if the serbs have history?

Large amount of pro Russian fans who still hold a grudge for the bombings during the break up of Yugoslavia.

Apparently police spotters have seen cocaine use and previously banned English fans in Germany, looks like it could go off.

Any England game attracts the nut jobs always has and always will. It's sad to see when it does kick off especially for the 95% who want no part in it.
Going back to the game, I'll watch it but I'm pretty sure that Southgate will go for a draw, so I think I can skip the Horlicks tonight 🥱.

Everything about the bloke is sleep inducing, never understood his appointment as he hardly succeeded as a club manager.
