I’m hoping we get Oldham at home, that should be a nice easy game after they scraped through on penalties after a 3-3 draw at Boundary Park with Mickleover and that’s with a full strength team.
Let me in!

Interesting tie, not somewhere I've been. When's it due to be played?

It would have been much better to have ticked off a new ground nearer home. Costly journey for Club and most supporters, alike. South-east London - urrrgh!

Time to bow out in my opinion. Good to see the young lads on Saturday, but this is a competion for clubs with nothing else to play for. Nothing should be allowed to distract us from the ultimate goal. Three more postponed League games, plus any the winter might turn up, might be a high price to pay for a day out at Wembley. I hope Barnet and any others within touching distance of us go a long way. I anticipate a loss at Welling.

Why, it’s good for the youngsters

Nothing to lose and everything to gain in development terms if we continue to play the kids and fringe players

Don't think an home game would have made much difference though especially straight after Christmas and the Watford game.

Agree about the youngsters, who I’m sure will play in every Trophy game going forward. The downside is that after this next round, the next three rounds are on Saturdays when we have league games in the diary. To be fair Fylde and Gateshead, our opponents on two of these days remain in the competition, but if we are out it gives us the opportunity to play the diary game (no need for a postponement) or any subsequent postponed game.

Less chance of a fixture conjestion .

Play the same’ish team with youngsters backed up by first team squad members needing game time. If we get knocked out so be it, if we don’t it means the young lads are doing well.
