Who is your No1 keeper my choice Boot because he is experienced and generally likes to catch crosses and not punch them. It was interesting reading the Barnet forum with one posting saying that the only area of weakness in our team is the keeper.

Tyrer is going to be a great great keeper that will probably play in the premiership at sometime in the future but.,,

for now I’m with Boot with more experience and catching almost everything that comes his way,

Tyrer as I’ve stated many times lol should be catching instead of punching 2/3 times flapping vs Barnet in the first half as well as in other games which have cost us goals

The reason he’s here is to gain that experience. Winning side so I’d stick with him at the mo.

We are in a very fortunate position at our level having 2 good keepers.
Tyrer will go on to bigger and better things, (especially given Evertons current plight)

In Boot we have a keeper who I believe will be in the number 1 position next season, back in the EFL.

For this season both will get games, and it doesn't impact on the team

I prefer Boot because his distribution is better

I've only seen Boot at Kiddie and I thought the opposite. Good keeper though. It's been a long time since we had two keepers of this quality.

Tyrer for me. I’ve not seen enough of Boot to warrant a rounded opinion of him.

That save from Tyrer in the first half against Barnett was excellent. He’s a decent keeper.

I’m fine with Tyrer….also what matters is Cook and his team are happy with Tyrer.

Not much in it. Tyrer needs to calm down though - calmness not urgency required towards the end of the Barnet game when 4 nil up, and his contribution wasn't good - thrashing ball straight down the middle straight to their keeper on a couple of occasions, and generally having me curse him a bit.

I prefer Boot, but Tyrer will play. Not much in it, although I wish Tyrer wouldn’t try and punch it as much as he does

Boot, but I don’t know the terms of Tyrer’s loan deal. It can sometimes involve us paying wages if a player doesn’t play.
These go to eleven.

Either. Both are excellent keepers. Tyrer will play the majority of games because otherwise why would Everton bother sending him here. I can see Boot being number 1 for years to come though if he signs an extension.

That was rumoured to be the arrangement when Tyrer signed.

If the management team don’t feel playing tyrer is the right call they won’t play him. They won’t pick him based on whether it comes down to paying him or not. He was the first keeper we signed and the management definitely rate him and his attitude, Webb I think it was said as much a while ago.

After what's just happened to Everton that might get renegotiated!

Paul Cook isn’t afraid to drop players if he thinks they’re not good enough or not pulling their weight. I totally agree with you, he plays more games than Boot because Paul Cook wants him too and I’m happy with Cookies judgement.
