Cracking signing, if he can keep fit he's quality at this level and above.

Bit concerned about this signing. In his interview he talks about coming inside from the left on his right foot. We already have 2 players who do this. Does the signing mean a departure is on the cards?

Quality player and you can't have too many but not sure where he fits in unless Dobra is expected to be sold.

I think he plays mainly where Colclough plays not Dons

Was told by a reliable source he can play as a 10 which is probably a very slight weakness for us

According to his interview, because of his long career, he feels he can, and has, play anywhere across the attacking midfield.

I wonder if we will see cookie change things a little

A “front 4” of Griggs Dobra Colclough and Jacobs with Manderville and Naylor in CM would be delicious
A new hope.

It would need a proper four at the back, which would mean Shacks instead of King. Given that the Mandeville/King partnership on the right wing would be broken up it would make sense, but bad news for KIng. Looks a good one to me though.

Call me a fantasist but I think I can see a few Jack-like features in his play. Technically excellent, disguise, confidence. He's probably a couple of weeks off being in top shape though.

King is better at getting forward but Sheckleford is the better defender, so we could see the latter in those must not lose matches.
King does need to practice his crossing though, and it doesn't always mean having to beat his man either because a certain right back at Liverpool seems to make a living doing just that. I don't expect premiership quality from him, but for him to think outside the 18yd box.

Absolutely reminded me of Jack in those few clips - not just me then.

Why he was head and shoulders best player last year,he does need the occasional rest as he puts so much in
