I'm sure we can show our appreciation once we return to normal.Or the new normal..
I just hope we dont have to mourn anyone else.Keep safe keep well

Maybe the club could have an announcement at the first game where fans attend. We have lost 3/4 spireites I think since games stopped and this would be the idea occasion.

Seems a real shame to let Rob go without a tribute on the day from his mates.

Suggestion:
Could Bobs Board (Spirenag, Moondog etc) try and arrange a drive around of the Proact on the day of Robs funeral by liaising with his family?
We could then have plenty of his mates dressed in the clubs colours, stood at least 2 metres apart in the car park, to give him a round of applause as he passes us by?
We could use the time to get in place at the Proact as our daily exercise "walk" and I would suggest there could be understanding from the public and police as it would only be like the social distancing for the queues at Tesco and Sainsburys etc.

Police wont approve it especially now that the Proact has been designated a Testing area.

Great idea, and I’d offer a shed load of tickets for the NHS staff in the town/district for free, as guests of honour. Open the away end for them. Give them a round of applause to show our appreciation, and remember those unfortunate people who have succumbed to this virus.

Great idea.

Just occurred to me during our minutes public services applause - the Club should hold one prior to our first game back for Rob and every other Chesterfield victim of the virus.

We are already looking at how to mark the end of this in terms of remembering those lost as well as recognising the key workers and the community spirit.

Thank you Westbars and Moondog, have to agree with you, but such a shame that one of the lads has to leave on his own. It just does not feel right at all.
Anyway hopefully have a send off for him when conditions allow, as previously suggested.

Keep safe.

It's a lovely idea but I sadly don't think it's one that can be encouraged.

It is and I would have had a word but sadly it fails to meet the essential criteria.
