Kevins son (Also, Kevin) is currently posting various photos of his dads memorabilia over in Lilleyland on Facebook.

Some classic shirts, both worn by his dad (and other great players since) as well as old team photos, championship medals etc.

Seen them, the 10-0 defeat shirt is superb. Never ever seen it before.

It was very humbling to pay my respects to Kevin today

The turnout at the service showed how much respect Kevin had in the football world with several generations coming together to pay their respects to a fine football man

John Duncan and Jamie Hewitt made emotional speeches about Kevin whilest Neil Warnock gave his tribute wearing a purple tie which he said was part of a pact made with Kevin when they agreed whoever went first the other had to wear it

It was good to catch up with people I had not seen for several years including 85 year old John Newman who was assistant manager at Mansfield when Kevin was youth team coach before he came back to the Town in 1993 to team up again with John Duncan

RIP KEVIN you will be greatly missed

Fantastic send off for Kevin Randall this afternoon. A myriad of ex-Spireites there amongst family and friends. From memory, and fee free to add anyone I forgot, there were former managers John Duncan, Nicky Law, Danny Wilson, Dave Rushbury & Frank Barlow, former players and current Premier League managers Sean Dyche & Neil Warnock, semi-final heroes Mark Jules, Andy Morris, Jonathan Howard, Jamie Hewitt, Tom Curtis, Paul Holland & Chris Perkins; players from Kevin's time as a player at Chesterfield, Charlie Bell, Roy Hickton, Martin Wright, Tony Hallam, Albert Holmes, Tom Fenoughty, Ron Mihaly, Ron Reid, Ivan Hollett & David Pugh, players from his first spell with John Duncan Jim Brown, Steve Baines, Brian Scrimgeour, Brian Ferguson, Chris Marples, Bob Newton & Bob Bloomer, players that played under him as Spireite boss Andy Kowalski, Andy Taylor, Andy Wood & Adie Shaw; players from his second spell with John Duncan Steve Williams, Lee Turnbull, Andrew Kutcha, James Lomas, Ian Breckin, David Reeves & Andy Leaning plus former Spireites reserve captain and Burnley scouting colleague Glyn Chamberlain as well as former player who's also now in the scouting world, Paul Lemon, former Chairman of the PFA Ritchie Humphreys, Ex-Spireite and England U23 player Len Badger, former scout Dave Thompson, ex-groundsman and apprentice player Anthony Haywood, former CFC Football in the Community manager George Foster, the daughters of Ernie Moss, ex-England cricketer Geoff Miller, former colleagues Mick Jones & Terry Dolan and ex-England star Tony Currie.I'm sure there will have been others I didn't spot or, as I didn't jot any names down at the time, I've temporarily forgotten (sorry) or representatives of other clubs I may not have recognised. Feel free to add any missing names. Well over 40 former Chesterfield players, well over 50 sporting dignitaries. It shows you just how popular Kevin Randall was and what a legend he is and will always be in our Town.

I was disappointed at the photo used at the Proact on Saturday, tere are plenty of great photos of king Kevin. He was my all time hero, as a schoolboy I was always Kevin Randall when playing on the local field at Boythoroe. I even told some lads that he was my big brother.lol. Him and Ernie together true legends, thanks for the happy memories.

I agree Dave , that was what i was saying to my mates on Saturday , also very disappointing that somebody forgot to get the black arm bands out for the players , how could they forget that simple task.
