Fantastic send off for Kevin Randall this afternoon. A myriad of ex-Spireites there amongst family and friends. From memory, and fee free to add anyone I forgot, there were former managers John Duncan, Nicky Law, Danny Wilson, Dave Rushbury & Frank Barlow, former players and current Premier League managers Sean Dyche & Neil Warnock, semi-final heroes Mark Jules, Andy Morris, Jonathan Howard, Jamie Hewitt, Tom Curtis, Paul Holland & Chris Perkins; players from Kevin's time as a player at Chesterfield, Charlie Bell, Roy Hickton, Martin Wright, Tony Hallam, Albert Holmes, Tom Fenoughty, Ron Mihaly, Ron Reid, Ivan Hollett & David Pugh, players from his first spell with John Duncan Jim Brown, Steve Baines, Brian Scrimgeour, Brian Ferguson, Chris Marples, Bob Newton & Bob Bloomer, players that played under him as Spireite boss Andy Kowalski, Andy Taylor, Andy Wood & Adie Shaw; players from his second spell with John Duncan Steve Williams, Lee Turnbull, Andrew Kutcha, James Lomas, Ian Breckin, David Reeves & Andy Leaning plus former Spireites reserve captain and Burnley scouting colleague Glyn Chamberlain as well as former player who's also now in the scouting world, Paul Lemon, former Chairman of the PFA Ritchie Humphreys, Ex-Spireite and England U23 player Len Badger, former scout Dave Thompson, ex-groundsman and apprentice player Anthony Haywood, former CFC Football in the Community manager George Foster, the daughters of Ernie Moss, ex-England cricketer Geoff Miller, former colleagues Mick Jones & Terry Dolan and ex-England star Tony Currie.I'm sure there will have been others I didn't spot or, as I didn't jot any names down at the time, I've temporarily forgotten (sorry) or representatives of other clubs I may not have recognised. It shows you just how popular Kevin Randall was and what a legend he is and will always be in our Town.
