Ok hats off to Ryan for scoring yesterday.

But.

Before scoring he looked totally disinterested, lethargic and wasn’t helping the team at all.

Looking back at his goal, he got extremely lucky losing the ball and then somehow it fell back in his path.

For me he just isn’t fit enough. When he’s sub he never warms up at half time?

Must be better players out there for next Season plus his Court case looms large!

Yet, have we any other player on our books who could start with ball on the side touchline, facing two defenders and end up in the centre of the box in space, and have the guile to find the perfect shot wide of the keeper?
It would help if some of his team mates saw him, especially in the second half yesterday, in acres of space crying out for a cross field pass that rarely came.
He’s not had a good season, but, after a good start, can we say Duffy is any better?
In which case who and where are these ‘much better players’?

Coco in the first half was like a spare part
No one was giving him the ball .even when cooky was screaming at players to give him the ball.
Something must have been said at half time because he got the ball more which resulted in the goal

Seem to recall him playing very well against us at Altrincham in more of a left midfield role. Here he's been played pretty much as a left winger.Hes done good for us wide left but looks a bit flat this season

Modern day players are expected to track back and defend and look to want the ball. Colclough for me does neither. When he does get the ball he can be very effective but he lacks consistency.

Difficult to compare Duffy as he’s only had a few games thus far. Better defensively and has had some decent moments Doncaster, and I think he will do well for us.

Colclough needs to show up more in games.

He’s a quality player but had a poor season. He’s more direct than some of our other wide players. Not helped by injuries and it’s been stop start for him all year.
I don’t think any of the wide players have been helped by how many options we have out wide. Chopping and changing who gets a run hasn’t helped any of them.
I think it’s highly unlikely he will be with us next year anyway.

Colclough, hasn't had a great season, due to injury and other things on his mind, but one thing you can't say about him is that he doesn't show for the ball, because he does. He comes deep when he needs to, he finds space others can't, and beats defenders for fun. Hopefully he can pick up his season from here on in.

He’s far too inconsistent.

Decent cameo when he came on Tuesday night and made a difference but his final ball and decision making is generally poor.

Love his directness but just not productive enough IMO.

That last little shimmy before his goal bound shot was top class. It's a tragedy that he's in L2.

It was indeed. Opened up the target perfectly.

I'm disappointed the way this season has turned out for him because prior to it, he had been an excellent fit for us and vice versa.

There appears to be some sort of underlying injury issue which isn't going away, but at times I'm left wondering whether or not Ryan wants it bad enough. The frustrating thing for me is that he has the ability to change games.

He's achieved so much here but I hope he doesn't look back on his time at the club with the regret that he could have done more.

He was constantly out wide and available when we played Barrow, but we never seemed to give him the ball there either, has he had a falling out within the squad, ?? Just seems strange that they look to reluctant to give him the ball
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I think some of it is the centre half that can spread it that way. Grimes from the left is more comfortable to play the long switch ball to the right, Mcfadzean has last couple of games but palmer is less keen to do it.

That means it comes out to the left much slower and the opposition have come across that side as well so less room for colclough to get the ball.

Last few games cook has told the wingers to really stay wide so they can look a bit isolated at times as well.

Good point.
Think Coco and Sparkes would well together

I wouldn't want him here next year if he'd racked up 25 goals and 25 assists this season after what we all know he did. Bloke is a proven wrong un, football shouldn't come before morals.

Has he got over his injury fully.

It's not a case of that mate, I thought everyone and their mother had seen the evidence doing the rounds when it happened. Plus (at risk of sounding like a Bob's Board in the know type tit) I've heard straight from the horses mouths. He did it, you can bet your house on that.

Not really the argument I'd be using considering all he did was have a scrap in a pub something you see all the time
