Just had the email advertising ticket sales for T20 and noticed the T20 vs Porkshire in the Park is on a Saturday - very good that for people who actually play cricket!

Seems strange to put the Queens Park T20 on a Saturday as you say. Suspect it will still be a big crowd mind you so they probably wont care.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club can confirm it has been in contact with West Indies international Marlon Samuels and his agent regarding opportunities at the Club.
The Club remains committed to exploring all options to strengthen the side ahead of the 2017 season.
However, we have a number of routes available and in view of recent events, the Club is no longer pursuing Marlon Samuels.

We finished on 281 all out then had Northnts 171-8 before letting them finish 291-9
The number of times we had sides on the ropes last season and then let them off the hook during a match were several I recall
Looks like nothing has changed in that respect
Nathan Buck who has moved to Northants from Leicestershire finished with his career best bowling figures and then not out with his highest score with the bat
A worry for Derbys is that Shiv Thakor fell akwardly whilest bowling and limped off the ground with it looks a bad ankle injury
I have also been warmer whilest watching cricket lol
